Bear Peak Holdings
The federal government allows all US citizens to claim mineral rights on certain federal lands for themselves. This isn't a very well known law, but it is extremely important for the mining industry. There are two types of claims (Lode and Placer). Lode claims are for minerals within hard rock, while Placer claims are for minerals held within sands or gravel (loose aggregate). Our company focuses on lode claims, and all claims owned are of that type.
Our Company
We strive to offer value through finding new mineral deposits and developing them. This junior exploration company is looking to expand its footprint at claims in southern Nevada and thus create a more prospective footprint for other companies to lease or partner with.
Projects
Currently there are two main deposits that Bear Peak Holdings is assessing. The first would be the Mag Mtn dolomite (Mg) deposit. The second would be the Blue Hill (Cu & Ag) deposit. These are located within a few miles of each other.
Strategy
Adding to claim block will allow for a much larger prospective area to be explored. Geochemical tests of samples focus efforts to specific areas. Drilling and more extensive geologic mapping are next steps for the deposits.
Environment & Sustainability
Selectively choosing deposits based on location, commodity, and other factors allows effects on the environment to be minimized. Magnesium, silver, and copper are all extremely important in the switch to renewable energy. Location allows for specific renewable energies to be chosen for power production.
